Stainless steel welded pipe can be heated by induction heating, which is a heating method that uses electromagnetic induction to generate heat energy. Among them, the stainless steel tube is used as the induction heating material, and the induction heating uses the changing magnetic field to generate eddy currents in the conductor, and these eddy currents generate resistance in the conductor to cause energy to be converted into heat energy. In order to achieve induction heating, an AC power supply passes through a coil, (induction coil) to generate a high-frequency alternating magnetic field. When a stainless steel tube is placed near the induction coil, the magnetic field passes through the tube wall and causes eddy currents in the tube. These eddy currents will generate resistance heat in the stainless steel tube, heating it to the desired temperature.

Induction heating has many advantages including fast heating speed, high efficiency conversion, good controllability of local heating, etc. It is widely used in industrial production for annealing of stainless steel pipes, welding heat treatment, surface coating and other heating processes. However, to successfully apply induction heating to stainless steel pipes, several factors need to be considered. Including appropriate frequency selection, appropriate induction coil design, working distance and heating time, etc. The selection of these parameters will depend on the specific application, demand and the size, shape and material of the stainless steel pipe to be heated. Therefore, before using induction heating to heat the stainless steel pipe, it is best to carry out system design and parameter optimization to ensure the effect and safety of the heating process.
